Sautéed Garlic Green Beans

These Sautéed Garlic Green Beans are a simple, flavorful side dish that has become a favorite at many family gatherings, especially around dinnertime. Created by Roger himself, this recipe brings together fresh green beans, garlic, onions, and savory seasonings for a comforting addition to any meal.

Dietary Notes: Vegetarian

Ingredients

  • Green beans (fresh or canned)

  • Red onions

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic

  • Olive oil

  • Butter

  • Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Rinse the green beans and set aside.

  2. Chop the garlic cloves into fine pieces.

  3. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a sauté pan.

  4. Dice 1/4 cup of red onions, or more according to your taste.

Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat the pan and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.

  2. Add the green beans.

  3. Add 1/2 stick of butter.

  4. Add pepper.

  5. Add Italian seasoning and a dash of salt.

  6. Sauté the green beans until tender.
