Robbie Hairston Retires US Air Force
After 25 years of service, Robbie will be retiring from the United States Air Force in the rank of Major.
After 25 years of distinguished service, Robbie will retire from the United States Air Force with the rank of Major. Throughout his remarkable career, he accumulated more than 6,000 flight hours, including 1,000 combat hours and 1,000 instructor hours, while operating eight different models of the C-130 cargo aircraft. He also experienced the rare opportunity to circumnavigate the globe in propeller aircraft, traveling from Texas to Pakistan, Japan to Kuwait, and enduring a challenging journey across the Pacific Ocean in a small plane.
During his retirement ceremony, Robbie expressed gratitude to his family for their unwavering support, while especially honoring the influence of his mother, Marsha, and his aunts, Patricia and Phyllis (father’s side), whose combined 30+ years of service in the public school system inspired his own lifelong commitment to service.
We are endlessly proud and thankful for you Rob!
